Welcome to the web site of St Mary's Church in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland. Feel free to explore our web site and find out more about this historic church, the building, our minister and the congregation. We look forward to your return visit.
About our church and mission
Visiting St Mary's Regular Sunday services take place at 9.30am and 11am. To mark the start of Christian Aid Week in Haddington there will be a joint service of all churches in St Mary's at 11.00am. There will be no 09.30am Family Service that day. Everyone is welcome. In addition, we are open to visitors for the Easter weekend (no tearoom or shop) and then from May to the end of September from 13:30 until 16:00 Sundays to Fridays and from 11:00 to 16:00 Saturdays, with shop. There is a daily five-minute service at 14:00 on Monday to Friday and at 12:00 on Saturday. Whilst our Sunday opening hours are 13:30 until 16:00, you are of course welcome to attend any of our Sunday services. As the church will be open in the afternoons from 1 May, the Wednesday Quiet Time will not be offered during May to September. This year we are currently unable to offer our tearoom service. Groups are also welcome, but please complete the Group Visit form & send to the tour organiser (see Contact menu) so that we can be organised for your visit.
Access for the disabled Wheelchair access is via the North door, inside which you will also find toilet facilities. The doorbell here is to allow the disabled to alert those inside, so help can be given with access.
