About our church and mission

  • We are a worshipping Christian community, with Christ at the centre.
  • We seek to impact on our local community with a Christian message and by involvement in groups and activities.
  • We want to encourage visitors and worshippers to discover more about our beautiful building.

Worshipping at and visiting St Mary's

Regular Sunday services take place at 9.30am and 11am.

In addition, we are open to visitors for the Easter weekend (no shop) and then from May to the end of September from 13:30 until 16:00 Sundays to Fridays and from 11:00 to 16:00 Saturdays, with shop. There is a daily five-minute service at 14:00 on Monday to Friday and at 12:00 on Saturday. Whilst our Sunday opening hours are 13:30 until 16:00, you are of course welcome to attend any of our Sunday services. Groups are also welcome, but please complete the Group Visit form and send to the tour organiser (see Contact menu) so that we can be organised for your visit.

Access for the disabled

Wheelchair access is via the North door, inside which you will also find toilet facilities. The doorbell here is to allow the disabled to alert those inside, so help can be given with access.
